A Bit About Me

Welcome!

For me, the relationship between the client and the therapist is the essential foundation to progress. I strive to create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment for you to share your lived experience. I will work collaboratively with you to help you grow into who you are yearning to become. 

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who graduated from San Francisco State University with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. With my bachelor’s degree from Mills College in psychology as well as in women, gender, and sexuality studies, I am especially trained to support LGBTQIA+ individuals. I use an intersectional approach to support individuals with a variety of identities. I have experience working with a great variety of clients including individuals from ages 5-78 years old with a multitude of cultural backgrounds and presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, OCD, anger issues, and ADHD.

I use an eclectic approach in therapy as I feel that every individual is unique, so what they need from therapy is unique. I pull from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused therapy, as well as other approaches including Humanistic and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
