What video platform do you use?
Free At Heart Online Therapy uses HIPPA compliant telehealth video platforms. Your therapist will supply you with instructions on how to connect with them.
Do I need to fill out paperwork?
Yes, we have some forms that need to be completed prior to your first appointment.
What is your new patient procedure?
Our Practice Manager or one of our therapists will contact you to gather some basic information, respond to any questions you have, and briefly discuss your current needs to assess which therapist and counseling style may be most beneficial for you. You will receive an email with the required paperwork that needs to be completed and an appointment can be scheduled.
What is your late cancel or no show policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment, contact your therapist directly as soon as possible. If you cancel frequently you may be taken off your regular schedule with your therapist.
What problems do you treat?
We treat a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, family dynamics, self-harm/suicide, panic attacks, phobias, maternal/post partum, obsessive compulsive disorder, and many more.
Can I pick my therapist?
After we get basic information a feel for what your needs are, a therapist is recommended, and preferences usually accommodated.
Are appointments only 9-5 pm?
Some of our therapists have flexible times including evenings and weekends available. Please let us know about your about timing preferences.
