Pratichi Sadavrati

I grew up feeling safest around people who were true to themselves, honest with me, and had a good sense of humor. As a therapist, I hold these values close to me. Regardless of age, I strive to create a safe and supportive space by showing up authentically, allowing clients to guide the pace and direction of our sessions, and offering the tools I’ve developed as a professional to support their journey.

I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual, which is why I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and the Gottman Method. I also practice with a neurodivergent-affirming and gender-affirming lens.

 
Along with that, having grown up in a different country, I nurture a deep respect for cultural differences and the uniqueness they add to an individual’s life. I strive to approach each therapeutic relationship with curiosity, humility, and cultural sensitivity. Recognizing that identity, tradition, and lived experience are essential parts of the therapeutic process.
