Michael "MJ" Lester

As a therapist, I believe that everyone has personal strengths and my role is to help individuals find those strengths and build on and utilize them. My most important position is to work with you on building and maintaining a strong, supportive relationship
in order to foster those strengths and make progress. I have a BA in Psychology and completed an Elementary Education teacher certification, my MS in Mental Health Counseling, and am licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist, having worked with prenatal through 65 years of age as well as families. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, panic disorders in all ages, behavioral concerns in children, parenting issues/concerns, as well as perinatal and postpartum mood disorders/mental health. My approach to therapy is more Person Centered while also utilizing techniques from CBT, DBT, MI, TF-CBT, as well as Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
