Mary Jenkins

Hello and welcome! I am Mary Jenkins, an associate clinical social worker (ASW98011) with a passion for helping individuals experiencing chronic illness, life transitions, grief and loss as they navigate the struggles and challenges of life.

As a therapist my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing. My clinical perspective includes CBT, ACT, DBT and Narrative Therapy. Through my training in art and play therapy based interventions I have developed an engaging and interactive telehealth approach which can include art, music, story writing, and movement, where appropriate. I am also trained in using virtual sand tray modalities with adolescents and adults in a telehealth setting.

I obtained my master of social work degree from Cal State University Fullerton with an emphasis on Community Mental Health, and have worked as a therapist in outpatient, PHP, IOP, and residential settings with children, teens, and adults.
