Maddy Stein

I’m a relational therapist who values authenticity, connection, and collaboration in the therapy room. I believe healing happens through relationships, and I work to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My experience includes working with children, transitional-aged youth, and adults facing challenges like social anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, low self-esteem, and identity development. I’m especially attuned to the ways relational dynamics shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. My work is grounded in client-centered and relational approaches, and I often draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients explore their inner experiences with compassion and curiosity. With children, I incorporate play-based therapy to support emotional expression and regulation in developmentally appropriate ways. Whether I’m supporting a child in building emotional regulation skills or helping a young adult explore their sense of self, I approach each client with warmth, flexibility, and a deep respect for their lived experience.
