Joyce Han

I'm Joyce (AMFT #157347), a journaling enthusiast and cat-loving human who believes deeply in the power of connection. Having sat in both the therapist and client's chair, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to start therapy. My goal is to make the process feel as safe and easeful as possible, even if that looks like playing Uno, coloring, or dissecting the lyrics of your favorite album together. I work from a collaborative approach, honoring your pace and lived experience. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. We’ll be curious and compassionate together!

I received my B.A. in Psychology from UCSD and M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. I've worked in non-profit faith-based and school-based settings, supporting individuals with various concerns — relational and social challenges, grief and loss, cultural or intergenerational issues, boundary-setting, sexual trauma, immigration stress, church hurt, and more. Whatever you are experiencing, I believe healing happens in connection. You have a unique story that deserves to be heard, and it would be my privilege to come alongside you in your journey.
