A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m James Lee (AMFT #142544), an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist.  I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples and families as they navigate life’s challenges and grow into their fullest selves. 

I have received my B.A. in Psychology from University of California of Riverside. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Although my style tends to incorporate CBT, person-center, and solution-focused, I more focus on meeting where the client is at.

My therapeutic work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for healing. I have experience working in diverse settings—from school-based programs to residential care facilities—supporting children, teens, and adults facing issues such as trauma, addiction, relationship struggles, identity questions, and emotional regulation. Whether you're working through something specific or seeking greater self-understanding, I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to process, explore, and heal.
