A Bit About Me

I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and families, and I strive to create a supportive and empowering environment for clients to explore their identity and aspirations in life. Before becoming a counselor, I spent several years working in the behavioral health field, providing in-home and school-based support for children and adolescents, including those on the autism spectrum. That experience shaped my ability to meet clients where they are—with patience, structure, and compassion.

With a professional background in dance, I often incorporate somatic tools, such as movement, breathwork, and grounding techniques, into my work when they feel supportive. I find that connecting to the body can be a powerful way to process emotion and build self-awareness.

As a queer person of color, I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals navigating identity, emotional regulation, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed, drawing from CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and creativity.
