Danae Christerson

Hi, I’m Danae! I am passionate about incorporating art, music, self-compassion, and somatic healing into evidence-based practices to foster well-being in kids, teens, and adults. It’s a hard time to be a human in the world today, and I want to be the safe person that creates space for clients to open up, explore their identities, process trauma, and get their spark back. I have been trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, Narrative and Expressive Arts, Gender Affirming Care, and MAP. As a social worker, I am client-centered and I believe that treatment should be adapted to fit the client, and not the other way around. I am particularly passionate about working with the queer and trans community.
