Because being true to "thine own self" requires stepping out of comfort zones, her Artful Listeners sessions integrate somatic experiencing using Expressive Arts and the structure of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). “My practice encompasses a person-centered and humanistic approach to therapy, to be present for you with warmth and empathy.” Sessions are pro-active, personalized with respect to the DBT assumption that each person is currently doing the best they can, and that they have the desire to improve.
