Hello there! My name is Bao, and I am a bilingual Vietnamese American therapist who is based in Southern California. I primarily work with children, adolescents, adults, and families from ages 3-75 who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, high-risk behaviors, substance use, anger management, and relational issues. I like to use various therapeutic approaches to tailor to each client’s individual needs, but some of the approaches I like to use in my practice stemmed from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy.

In addition to working with clients from different ages and mental health backgrounds, I also provide therapy for clients from diverse populations, especially those who are from underserved communities. As a therapist who is also a woman of color, I strive to provide culturally competent and affirming care for my clients.
